Life-Work Balance Challenge

How Does Your Job Affect Your Quality of Life?

With 24/7 access to technology, it can seem like the workday never comes to an end. Between email notifications and text messages, social media updates and phone calls from frazzled coworkers, the concept of being “off the clock” has seemed to have disappeared completely.

As our computers became small enough to take home with us in our pockets, we’ve overlooked the importance of setting boundaries and creating healthy norms for work and personal life separation. This has left us with an unhealthy work-life balance.

During our time together I will guide you through ways to set those boundaries and make the time to take care of your needs outside of work. Together, we’ll talk through self-care methods as well as ways to reach out and reconnect with people and activities that may have fallen to the wayside.

If you’re up for the challenge, sign up today! We’ll begin on Sunday, October 23rd.

Meet Carrie Lehtonen, The Facilitator of the Life-Work Balance Challenge!

Carrie Lehtonen's second chance at life came at 31 years old when a blood clot in her coronary artery resulted in a heart attack. As a healthy triathlete in the prime of her life, Carrie was the last person anyone would suspect of having heart disease. After 18 years of experience in Human Resources, Carrie chose to pursue a second career in health and wellness to help people find their path to better health and live inspired lives.

Carrie is committed to reducing the impact of heart disease, and loves seeing people light up when they learn something new, challenge themselves beyond what they think they are capable of, and tap into their passion.

Carrie is the founder and president of Firefly. Carrie created Firefly because she believes that what the world needs most is for each person to uncover their passion and live an inspired life. You have a unique gift, and it's Carrie's mission to help you ignite your inner light so that you can shine!

Carrie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) with training from CorePower Yoga and 90 Monkeys in Colorado, Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, and Prajna Yoga in New Mexico. She has training in vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, anatomy, Self Awakening Yoga (SAY), and Stand Up Paddleboard yoga. She attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Carrie is certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
